House Tour

In August, 2013, our family of five relocated from the Raleigh area of NC to Greensboro, NC where we are currently renting a home (see pictures at the end of tour) while we find the perfect place to call "home"!  This home tour is of our previous house where we lived for almost two years.  As a boring builder's spec house, my mission was to slowly transform it into a unique and comfortable home for our family without spending a lot!  Although I was never really "done" with the house, I was able to transform it with paint, flea market finds, and a little creativity!  I've listed most (if not all) of my sources and paint colors to help you out :)

This is my first visit - I swung over from StoneGable. All I can say is "Wow". You have a talent for home decor. I particularly like how you pair vintage with modern touches. I'm sorting through paint colours myself, at the moment and like what you've chosen for your master bedroom.

I absolutely LOVE your house!! This may sound weird, but I envy your lower ceilings too. Our house has these crazy high ceilings in almost every room and it's not very cozy, not to mention curtains are very expensive!!! But, back to your house, I seriously love it all.

Wow Kristen! This is some home! What I could do with a home this large! I live in a 1950's cookie-cutter ranch style home that is only 1100 square feet.

Love your style! Every room is magazine worthy. You've put everything together beautifully. I just started following along and will have to take a look at your Etsy shop. I love the way you mix textures, color, pattern and furniture. You rocked it with your creative style. Thrilled that I discovered your blog today. You are going places!!!
